How We Use Your Information
- To generate and deliver your valuation report — your financial data is passed to OpenAI's API to generate the AI-powered narrative in your report
- To process payment — via Stripe's secure payment infrastructure
- To send your report — via Resend email delivery service
- To follow up — we may send you one follow-up email if you started but did not complete a valuation, and periodic updates about your business valuation (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To improve our service — session recordings and heatmaps via Microsoft Clarity help us understand how users interact with our site
- To analyze traffic sources — so we understand which marketing channels are most effective
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our business. Each has their own privacy policy:
- Stripe (stripe.com) — payment processing. Stripe stores your payment details securely. We never have access to your full card number.
- OpenAI (openai.com) — AI report generation. Your business financial data is sent to OpenAI to generate the narrative portions of your report. OpenAI's API does not use API-submitted data to train models by default.
- Resend (resend.com) — transactional email delivery
- Microsoft Clarity (clarity.microsoft.com) — session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity may collect anonymized behavioral data about how you use our site.
- Neon (neon.tech) — secure database hosting for your submission data
- Render (render.com) — web hosting
- Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) — DNS, CDN, and email routing
Data Retention
We retain your submission data (business name, email, financial inputs, and generated report) indefinitely so that you can access your report at any time via your unique report link. We do not currently offer automated data deletion, but you may request deletion by emailing support@valueai.pro.
Email Communications
By providing your email address, you agree to receive your valuation report and transactional emails related to your purchase. We may also send follow-up emails related to your valuation.
You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email, or by emailing support@valueai.pro. Transactional emails (your report, payment receipts) cannot be disabled as they are necessary to deliver the service you purchased.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. Database access is restricted and encrypted at rest.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
